Report 2009
We have executed the CVO Barometer research project in Poland for the fourth time. As usually, this panel, initiaded by an international experts’ platform, the Corportate Vehicle Observatory, was put into life in our country by the TNS OBOP market research agency.
The CVO Barometer is a professional and renowned research panel with one of the key features lying in identification and recognizing new Car Fleet Management market trends as well as initiating discussion on issues most essential to the industry.
Today, obviously the financial crisis constitutes such an issue. This needed to be mirrored by this year’s CVO Barometer. As compared to previous editions, the survey consisted of an additional part related to CFM professionals’ opinions on crisis bearing on the industry.
The optimistic moods that stayed with the group for many years have lowered significantly. There are countries, where experts answering the survey forecasted outcomes as bad as their respective markets shinking. Luckily, Poland is not such a market. Compared to other European countries, it is marked by highest optimism levels as to CFM industry development over the next few years.
The analysts forecast this year’s growth to amount to 8-10%. This might be little compared to some years of stable 20% growth, but it is still much when compared to forecasts for the whole economy.
