Missions:

Arval Service Lease sp. z o. o. as a global employer, care of career development of employees. Thus, we offer opportunities of employment in a newly established Arval Competence Center Warsaw (ACCW) in Poland. Within ACCW we are building a Team of Operational Permanent Controllers (OPC), which will collaborate on different topics with Arval Entities.

The recruitment is open for a position of Conduct and Control Officer working from Warsaw for the Conduct and Control Office the Corporate Department overseeing the whole Arval’s risk and Control framework.

 

The main activities on requested position are as follows:

•       Procedures Management (ensuring proper cascading process from Group procedures to Corporate one’s) and Monitoring;

•       Produce KPI’s to Corporate Center on several themes ( e.g. Inspection Générale (IG) recommendations, Permanent Controls Actions (PCA), New Activity Committee (NAC) conditions, Historical Incidents, controls results …);

•       Ensure Follow up of Corporate IG recommendations, PCA and NAC conditions;

•       Manage control plans in a dedicated IT system based on the control schedule and risk assessment;

•       Performs first line of defense controls for Corporate functions  on the basis of provided documents;

•       Formalize and archive control steps and results, report control results in a dedicated IT system;

•       In collaboration with Corporate Teams, define, record, and monitor action plans following the unsatisfactory control results;

•       Collaborate with Corporate Teams in the process of Risk and Control Self-Assessment in accordance with BNP Paribas guidelines;

•       Support Corporate Managers in preparatory works for internal audits done by the Group BNP Paribas;

•       Supports the continuous improvement of the risk and control framework (Periodical Sanity checks);

•       Produces and maintain a Data basis over IG findings, RCSA scenarios and any others topics needed as benchmark;

•       Participate to transversal projects;

•       Contributes to the training of the OPC Community.

Required skills:

We expect from candidates:

  • University degree in law, finance, economics, or other science faculties;
  • Minimum two years of working experience on a similar position in an international environment;
     
  • English language fluency (verbal and written), French language is a plus;
     
  • MS Office (Excel) operational knowledge;
     
  • Analytical skills;
     
  • Critical thinking;
     
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
     
  • Excellent attention to detail and work efficiency;
     
  • Ability to synthesize and explain complex topics in a simple way;
     
  • Strong sense of responsibility for the tasks assigned;
     
  • Result orientation.
